Erasmus+

Internationalization is the part of the history and main values of Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education. Exchange students are welcome at our faculty both in the autumn and the spring semester.

Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education has more than 110 years’ experience in research and in training special educational needs (SEN) teachers, also special needs therapists and supporters working with children and adults. We offer a wide range of courses for international students in four moduls which mainly based on research experiences of teachers. The moduls are:

  • New trends in the education of and support for people with SEN
  • Beyond special education
  • Disability studies
  • Methods in Intervention

Year by year our offer become always more colorful with new courses.

We have Erasmus+ contacts with 25 universities of 11 countries: Argentina, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Switzerland. Our Erasmus+ bilateral ageements fit on the requuirements of Erasmus+ University Charter. Our contacts are based on bilaterality and qualitative cooperation.

We are open to find more university and traineeship partners in the field of special needs education and disability studies to realize more and more student and staff mobility and participate in more international research projects.
