ELTE BGGYK Call for Applications for the 2026/2027 National Higher Education Scholarship
The purpose of the National Higher Education Scholarship is to support students who have achieved outstanding academic and scientific results. During the 2026/2027 academic year, the scholarship provides monthly financial support for 10 months, while also serving as a form of moral recognition for successful applicants.
Students of the Faculty enrolled in state-funded or self-financed full-time bachelor’s, master’s, or undivided programs may apply for the National Higher Education Scholarship if they have achieved outstanding academic results and performed exceptional work in their professional field. Applicants must have registered for at least two semesters and earned at least 55 credits during their current or previous studies. In addition, during their last two active semesters they must have completed at least 20 credits per semester, and their weighted/cumulative grade average must have reached at least 4.51 in each of those semesters.
Applications must be submitted through a request form in the Neptun system.
Application deadline: July 2, 2026 (Thursday), 8:00 AM (strict deadline)
Deadline for submitting missing documents: July 3, 2026 (Friday), 2:00 PM
Applicants will be notified of the results by: July 8, 2026 (Wednesday)
