Phonological development and speech sound disorders

588 / 5000

My research interest focuses on the typical and atypical acquisition of Hungarian phonology, both on its linguistic-cognitive and motor aspects. I am currently investigating the speech features that may be associated with  difficulties in planning/programming by using acoustic analyses and methods based on the auditory perception of speech. The results can be used in clinical practice, more specifically in the (differential)diagnosis of children with speech sound disorders. Additionally, I'm interested in using the ICF framework in the assessment of children with SSDs.
