Our department welcomed M.Pd. Citra Ashri Maulidina, representing Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and M.Pd. Nita Nitiya Intan Tanbrin, representing Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. The purpose of their visit was to introduce our respective cultures to one another, discuss opportunities for collaboration, and exchange professional experiences.
During the first week of their visit, Citra Ashri Maulidina and Nita Nitiya Intan Tanbrin, as participants in the InDi Blended Intensive Program, familiarized themselves with the Hungarian system for supporting people with disabilities and with the innovative projects currently underway at our faculty.
During the second week of their visit, they participated in a professional consultation meeting, during which the leaders and international coordinators of all three universities outlined the most important steps of the planned collaboration. We also had the opportunity to discuss the human resource requirements and potential funding frameworks for the planned joint educational, research, and development collaboration.
Finally, we had the opportunity to listen to our colleagues’ professional presentations on the most important achievements and challenges in Indonesian special needs education, as well as on the living conditions of students with high support needs and their families. In addition to members of the faculty community, Dr. Lajos Aáry-Tamás, the Commissioner for Educational Rights, also attended the presentations.
This visit marks a very important milestone in strengthening the relationship between our universities. All participants are committed to continuing this collaboration during the fall semester through online seminars and conferences, and later through in-person exchanges as well.
