Bárczi project among the top initiatives at the Social Innovation Forum 2025

The aim of the forum is to bring together policymakers, experts and relevant organisations to discuss how social innovation can support communities throughout the European Union in adapting to economic, environmental and social challenges.
This year’s event centres on the theme “How to build resilient societies across the EU through social innovation”, highlighting the importance of developing human resources and empowering citizens to participate in social change. The two-day programme will feature policy-focused presentations, thematic workshops, and the Social Innovation Market, in which fifteen pre-selected projects will have the opportunity to be presented.
Among the selected initiatives is the project entitled “ICT-based Development of Diagnostic Tools and Knowledge” by the Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty of Special Needs Education at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), developed within the framework of TINLAB. Led by Associate Professor Csilla Kálózi-Szabó, this interdisciplinary project aims to create an adaptive online diagnostic system that facilitates the early identification of learning difficulties, thereby reducing disadvantages and supporting both independent and collaborative learning. The digital tests provide immediate feedback to professionals, enhancing the possibilities for personalised education.
The project will be represented at the forum by Csilla Kálózi-Szabó and Zoltán Jakab from the faculty.
