Our International Mobility Students Have Arrived

Students from ten countries (Argentina, Belgium, India, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Spain, the Netherlands, Finland, and Norway) and fourteen universities (UNCuyo, Ghent University, HOGENT, University of Calcutta, Babeș-Bolyai University, Pädagogische Hochschule Heidelberg, Constantine the Philosopher University, Oslo Metropolitan University, TU Dortmund University, Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Europa-Universität Flensburg, Marnix Academie, and Åbo Akademi) are currently studying with us.
Their mobility programme began on the 3rd of February with an orientation day, when they had the opportunity to meet not only each other, but also Júlia Balogh (Foreign Affairs Representative, the BGGYK Students’ Union), Hanna Kálmán (Faculty Head Mentor, the Erasmus Student Network [ESN]), and Károly Trombitás (founder, Erasmus Life Budapest [ELB]). In addition to receiving information about Budapest’s social and cultural life, they were introduced to the faculty library and were warmly welcomed by the staff of the International Office, Attila Erdős and Gréta Kövecses.
The day concluded with a long-standing tradition: a communal planting session. The newly planted greenery was immediately placed on the designated shelves in the International Corridor, serving as a living tableau.
Throughout the semester, ESN, ELB, and the Bárczi International Office have planned several exciting programmes for them, to which we also warmly welcome our full-time students!
