The Special Collection of the History of Special Needs Education

The Special Collection of the History of Special Needs Education of the ELTE Bárczi Gusztáv Faculty is a specialised collection within our Library. This collection was founded in 1965, thanks to the initiative of Gusztáv Bárczi. It contains artefacts of the history of Special Needs Education in Hungary such as books, letters, manuscripts, personal objects, instruments of teaching and research, catalogues, photographs, stamps, diplomas etc. The Special Collection is open for research purposes.
