Anikó Sándor, our faculty’s vice dean for international affairs and a member of the Institute for Disability and Social Participation, and Emese Zagyi, a teaching assistant at the Institute for General Theory of Special Needs Education, participated in the 10th Polish-Hungarian Legal Studies Conference and the CLAP children’s rights project expert meeting in Lublin.

The goal of the CLAP (Children’s Local Affairs Participation) transdisciplinary project is to develop up-to-date methodological and policy recommendations to strengthen children’s meaningful participation at the local level. Following the first meeting held in Budapest in October 2025, the second in-person General Assembly project meeting took place on April 27–28, 2026, this time hosted by Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.

On the first day of the project, the 10th Polish-Hungarian Legal Studies Conference was held, where Anikó Sándor moderated the panel presentations related to the CLAP project.

On the second day of the event, the General Assembly meeting on the children’s rights project took place, focusing on sharing experiences from the past period and the practical challenges of involving children. Our faculty members contributed their professional and methodological expertise to the collaborative effort to ensure the project’s inclusive implementation.

Once again, we would like to thank our Polish colleagues for the opportunity to engage in joint reflection and meaningful professional dialogue, as well as for their warm hospitality, and we congratulate the students of the Faculty of Law on their high-quality conference presentations!
