INCLUSIVE, PARTICIPATORY, PRACTICE-ORIENTED EDUCATION
ELTE has developed a unique participatory methodology, a world first, in which 'professional' teachers and 'participatory' actors teach together on an equal footing, adding their lived experience to the knowledge of non-disabled professional teachers. Equality between people with disabilities and ELTE BGGYK trainers is achieved through a multi-teacher co-teaching model.
The training also includes reflective practice guided by trainers from the Faculty. The knowledge and skills acquired in theory and practice are consolidated during the field placement in the final semester.
Our Faculty has an inclusive approach that rejects labelling and categorisation. Inclusivity fosters diversity and creativity, and improves social cohesion and equality of opportunity.
