disability studies

Even in the 21st century, the place and perception of people with disabilities in society cannot be considered equal compared to the non-disabled population. Tens of thousands of people live in residential institutions, their employment rates are far below those of people without disabilities, and school inclusion is very limited in Hungary. My research focuses on these inequalities in different settings (education, job market, housing, volunteering) regardless of the medial group of disability.

social integration of people living with psychology diagnosis

People diagnosed as psychiatrically ill or with psychosocial disabilities are one of the most excluded and stigmatised groups in society, both in Hungary and abroad. Therefore, the focus of my research is on the one hand the affected person, and on the other hand the social relationships, such as relationships, friendships, labour market, hobbies, sports, peer groups, etc. These relationships are key to the recovery of the affected person.
