The research focuses on exploring the employment situation and opportunities of persons with disabilities. This group faces significant disadvantages and constraints in the field of employment. Examining organizational attitudes may reveal factors that influence both the employment prospects of persons with disabilities and the extent to which organizations are willing to employ them. It is also essential to identify the competencies required for employment that contribute to successful labor market integration. The research activity aims to demonstrate which individual and organizational support mechanisms and solutions can enhance both the quality and quantity of labor market participation.

Continuous discourse takes place in scientific forums and within HR practice regarding the principles and methodologies that could enable the effective and inclusive employment of persons with disabilities in the labor market. Empirical studies confirm that certain elements of Human Resource Management (hereafter HRM) are either absent or only marginally present in the employment of persons with disabilities. The findings of the current research may contribute to the development of an organizational and management support program targeting SMEs as key partners. Following the completion of the doctoral dissertation, the research is planned to continue by incorporating the perspectives of persons with disabilities.
